Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. In 1990, shortly after beginning her career as a model, she began to appear in tv shows such as Boy Meets World. Her first film role in the 1997 drama Nowhere. Following her appearance of American Beauty (for which she was awarded the BAFTA Award) and American Pie which attracted her much attention, she completed her transition into major parts. She's appeared alongside the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) before starring as the role of lead for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun was a independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thriller were both part of her professional career. She also appeared on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for 2005 in the category of Outstanding Ensemble.
